ABOUT ANTHONY DIAZ-PEREZ
What do you notice when you first arrive in Los Angeles? Mountains, ocean, expansive vistas, and streets that seemingly go on forever? Undoubtedly, you'll encounter a landscape unlike that of any other American city. When approaching LAX at about 10,000 feet the thought may occur to you that this metropolis presents an enormous variety of places to live.
When I arrived in LA nearly 15 years ago, from the Midwest, where the topography varies from flat to flatter, I was fascinated by all the possibilities of where and how one could live. In Chicago, my hometown, all the streets meet at ninety degree angles. Whereas in LA, I encountered winding hilly roads, steep hillside driveways, and phenomenal views without having to take an elevator to the top of a skyscraper.
These elements that distinguish Los Angeles from my previous home, and the rest of this country for that matter, are what got me interested in California real estate. I joined Coldwell Banker back in 2004 and started in the Hancock Park South office. It was there that I learned that being a good agent means far more than putting up a lawn sign at a listing, or searching on the MLS for available homes. I realized early on that what people want in a realtor is an informed, attentive and detail-oriented professional.
In 2007 I realized that in order to expand my practice I needed to be in a faster-paced environment. So I moved to the number one office in the company, Beverly Hills North. The recognition of my brokerage followed as I was awarded Coldwell Banker's International Sterling Society, and International Diamond Society awards in 2008 and 2009 respectively. Diamond Society members represent the top five percent of agents in the company worldwide.
In the course of my career I have worked with a great variety of clients; from first time buyers to foreign investors, from seasoned sellers to high-profile entertainment industry people. I pride myself on my ability to adapt to my client's needs and work styles. I have sold or listed a great many properties throughout Los Angeles; from Brentwood and the Palisades, to the Hollywood Hills and Westwood, to Hancock Park and Beverlywood. In every case I provide each client with a first-class, full-service real estate experience. For me, the most important deal is the present deal, and the most important person is the client right in front of me.
When looking for a real estate agent you need someone who can confidently navigate the vast geography of Los Angeles, and the sometimes tricky waters of the California real estate market. In challenging times or in "boom" years I have consistently assisted my clients to achieve their real estate goals. I look forward to helping you do the same.
